Question by jnamo77: Is there a special rim size I need to use with mud terrain tires?
I am thinking of putting mud terrain tires on my Nissan Xterra…can I mount any 6 lug (6×139.7) wheel with mud tires? (31-35) Or is there a certain width the wheel needs to be (7″-9″) I also need to know if a lift kit is necessary.

if your gonna run a tire size like a 31×10.5 you will need atleast a 9 inch wide rim or the tire will wear out fast also if you want a tire of 31 inches or better yes you will want to lift it or your gonna eat fenders all the time
