I have a 2005 F-15 4×4 with a lift and Mud tires and want to put it to the test. No use having a truck like this just for the city.

Question by ewlala_ewlala: What’s the safest way to pull a corvette out of the mud?
Left my car in a neighbors back yard while I had surgery recently.
They have clay type of soil that doesn’t absorb water very well.
They covered my car while they used it to wash a huge/heavy Persian rug.Supposedly it took them 2 weeks of daily washing/rinsing/drying this rug.
The ground is very muddy. If you try to stand on the mushy/muddy area(where my rear tires are)you start to shift in a sinking motion.
For 2 days Ive attempted to dig in front/side of rear tires, tried using wood/bricks/lattice/outside door mates. The tires just spin & sling mud all over the place.Ive tried rocking it back & forth while car is running/idling.
My results:the bottom of my car is about 1 inch from the ground now.Corvette is fiberglass, cant just jack it up & or tow it so easily.
Won’t this cause damage to car parts under neath?
It also has a removable top.
Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated!
OOPPS: I forgot to include the other material I attempted to use was 2 large sheets of plywood. I wedge them both in front of my rear tires where I shoveled the mud out.

Paint won’t stick to chrome no matter what type of paint you use.

Question by srfd1180: What to use to remove yellow paint from truck that got kicked up after they pained the lines in the road?
I have tried bug and tar remover, kerosene, WD-40, I have heard to use Vaseline and have also heard to use an ammonia and water mix……help?
Keep in mind I have a lifted truck with mud tires on it so it’s thrown all down the side….It makes me sick to look at it!

Same thing happened to me, it’s it’s just stayed there for years. Except mine wasn’t to the extreme. I wish I could help, but I haven’t even tried – I just thought you’d be comforted to know you weren’t the only one in the world to have that happen…
