Question by : I have a 5″ lift on my ’05 Chevy Silverado, can I pull a horse trailer?
I have a 5″ on my Chevy with mudding tires on the back. I have gotten told if I use a drop hitch, it wont mess up my truck at all. I need to be able to haul hay and a horse trailer. At least 2 horses in that trailer. My parents are preventing me from doing it and telling me that I will need to get a new truck for that, I want to find out so I can show them wrong. Just because I am a girl doesn’t mean I don’t know anything =P
THANK YOU ALL! I am showing all of this to the parents. Some people can’t even see that there is a lift haha if I can get a picture up here I will post it!!
cowboykev: I have my horses 45 min away from where I am and I want to take them all around the state. I would be hauling as much as I can. I wanna say possibly 2 times a week =)

You most likely can’t do to the fact that is is to high. What I would do is get one of those things that raise the height of the arm for the trailer. Hope this helps.

I like the Baja MTZ Radial. Its a good aggressive tread pattern for the mud and doesn’t make as much road noise when going down the highway.

Question by Rusty Keg: Good tires for a 09 Silverado 3500HD?
Ok, i have a 09 Silverado 3500HD. Its a 4wd. It has the stock 16 inch rims. Its a plow truck also. I have Transforce HT’s but they ware to fast, their bald at 30,000 miles…
I want something good in snow for sure, and something that can handle weight too, because i use it for my landscaping business…
I also wouldn’t mind somewhat aggressive tread so i could play in the mud a little, and or not worry about getting stuck…
Any suggestions, and a rough price estimate per tire if possible…

Put BFG A/T KO on it.
Get the load range E tires.
Gonna run you around 230 ish per tire, but they’re the best bang for the buck for what you want.
